Camps

A variety of camps are offered at playgrounds around Jefferson Parish. We offer camps to meet the interests of the youth that we service. Camps are led by experienced and knowledgeable staff and age appropriate opportunities.

Camps

JPRD offers a variety of camps for youth around Jefferson Parish. Our Leisure Service Division hosts three categories of camps, summer camps, holiday camps, and specialty camps. Summer Camps

Summer camp consists of two four-week sessions. Campers will develop social skills, learn teamwork, grow self-respect, and obtain new friendships. Activities include indoor and outdoor games and arts and crafts. In addition, campers will go on weekly field trips.

Summer Day Camps service children 3-13 years old.

Hours of Operation:
7:30 am- 3:30 pm
3:30 pm – 6:00 pm (Aftercare)

Fees:
$325 per session
$50 aftercare per session

Stem Day Camp
Stem Day Camp serves children 6-11 years old.*

Hours of Operation:

Monday – Friday

8:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. (No Aftercare)

Fees:
$4 insurance fee

*Parents/guardians must bring a $4 insurance fee, and provide proof of residency, proof of income, and the child’s original birth certificate to listed registration days. Must register in person.

Holiday Camps

Parents needing camp in between school breaks and holidays for their children can sign up for any of our holiday camps. The holiday camps are open surrounding major holidays and periods of time when children are off of school to accommodate parents scheduling.
