Kickball started with a bang as our first family-centered event of the year. JPRD created its first kickball tournament for Jefferson Parish families to compete in some healthy competition for the highly-coveted “kickin’ it” trophy. Six teams competed at LaSalle Park on January 22 and competed in competitive play despite the frigid weather. The Piazza Mafia Famiglia took home the title of champions, winning the tournament. JPRD is planning to host another family-style kickball tournament this June.
