Leo Webb: A Legacy of Excellence and Dedication in Louisiana Civil Service

by | Apr 11, 2024

Leo Webb, the Assistant Director, has been awarded the Louisiana Civil Service League’s 64th annual Charles E. Dunbar, Jr. Career Service Award for Louisiana’s Outstanding Merit Public Employees under State and Local Civil Service for 2023. At JPRD, Leo has overseen more than 150 recreation capital projects, including rebuilding the Pontiff Playground gymnasium after Hurricane Katrina and the Ree Alario Special Needs Center. Early in 2020, with Leo’s assistance, JPRD successfully restructured its organizational chart to promote operational efficiency and a culture of excellence. We are grateful for Leo’s 33 years of civil service in Jefferson Parish, and we celebrate his contributions to making our communities better for everyone.
