Terrytown Playground is centrally located and only minutes from downtown New Orleans. The playground has two meeting rooms downstairs that can be rented for birthdays, showers, etc. The meeting rooms can also be used for community meetings and such.
We also have a large gym with operating scoreboard, which can be used for basketball and volleyball. The gym also has shuffleboard court. The gym is air-conditioned and has very large seating areas in the bleachers.
On the second floor, there is a computer room and a large room with wooden floors for dance and exercise classes. There is also a ceramic and pottery room with kilns, molds and everything needed for ceramics and pottery. There are speciality camps for youth offered throughout the year for ceramics and pottery. There is also a culinary kitchen with ample space for holding cooking classes as well as dinner parties. It is also used for speciality camps for youth throughout the year. Attached to the culinary kitchen there is also another room that can be used separately when divider is used or as one large room.
Terrytown has six baseball/softball fields that are used during summer sports. These same fields can be transformed into two soccer fields and two football fields. There are two covered and lighted batting cages as well as another batting that is not covered. There is also a large pavilion with metal picnic tables.

Renters must be in the shelter by 11am. Park users must rent a shelter if the use of a spacewalk or party equipment is used. Park users must rent a shelter if they are boiling seafood.
