JPRD is gearing towards an exciting year with even more exciting initiatives to project our department into a more diverse and engaging division for employees and the public. In 2021, the department had seven initiatives: the model playground, JPRD mobile application, enhanced website, streamlined training system for employee coaches and volunteers, the appointment of a safety administrator, year-round sports academies, family participation programming, and submitting maintenance work tickets via a handheld device.
For 2022 JPRD has decided to reduce the number of initiatives to focus on more significant projects and change. In addition, the department separated initiatives and goals that all live under one umbrella.
